The Software Developer Lab Automation System(f/m/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to translate requirements into software design.

This position is part of the Software Engineering department located in Munich __ and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly re-imagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Translate requirements into software design.

  • Prepare appropriate documentation as required by internal product development processes and regulatory agencies such as FDA and ISO.

  • Create architecture, design, code, and unit test modules/components.

  • Participate in design, code and test reviews and code inspections, ensuring application of software engineering best practices, as well as the feasibility, efficacy and compliance to functional and regulatory standards.

  • Investigate software, hardware, and system problems using a variety of techniques and provides innovative solutions.

The essential requirements of the job include: __

  • Bachelor’s degree with several years of work experience in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field

  • Development experience with Visual C#

  • Very experienced in .NET / .NET Core and Multithreading as well as in NUnit / MSTest

  • Experience in agile Software Development

  • Experience with OOA/OOD development methodologies, UML tools and design patterns

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Visual Studio 2019 or higher

  • Software lifecycle (requirements, design, code, test) and software development processes for a regulated environment (ISO13845 and ISO62304)
